Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court will be pleased to call for the records and quash the order dated 23-6-99 made in O.A.No.2992 of 1998 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, by issuing a Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ or order or direction as the Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and to allow this Writ Petition with costs.

            Both the counsel submits that in view of abolition of the post of Village Administrative Officer, the subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous.

            Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.  There shall be no order as to costs.
